And she dressed for the occasion in a look that had quiet edge. While arrived in a bold peplum dress (and matching hat!) from Robert Wun’s inaugural couture collection, Yeoh chose to take a more understated approach that was no less impactful for it.The actor’s stylist Jordan Johnson Chung pulled a voluminous tulle trench coat from Alexander McQueen’s spring/summer 2023 collection for her client to wear on the night, one that featured dramatic “exploding” sleeves.
Yeoh toughened up her romantic tulle creation with platform boots and added a bright green manicure, which matched the shade of her sculptural earrings. Michelle Yeoh has been a refreshing presence on the red carpet this awards season, and we’re looking forward to seeing what she chooses for the biggest ceremony of the lot, the Oscars.
