Gengahr have announced their upcoming fourth album ‘Red Sun Titans’ and shared new single ‘In The Moment’ along with details of a UK tour.‘In The Moment’ is the second single from the album, following the comeback track ‘The Ladder‘, which was released back in February.“‘In The Moment’ reflects upon the necessity to break away from our daily routine and create meaningful memories,” said frontman Felix Bushe. “As much as sunny days and laughter with friends, ‘In The Moment’ celebrates the late hours without inhibition, where dreams lead and tomorrow lingers.”Bushe also shared that new album ‘Red Sun Titans’ is a record “caught in between two worlds”, and “sits at that crossroads where the past is still in view and to be learned from, but the future is there for the taking.”‘Red Sun Titans’ is set for release on June 9 via Liberator Music. Frank Ocean confirmed that a new album is on the horizon during his Coachella headline set last night (Sunday April 16) – but that fans could be waiting a while to hear it.Ocean’s set, which was controversially removed from the livestream schedule at the last minute, saw the artist respond to fan’s speculation that his return to the stage after nearly six years meant that new music would be on way.“It’s been so long but I have missed you,” he began. “I wanna talk about why I’m here, ‘cos it’s not because of a new album – not that there’s not a new album – but there’s not right now.”He continued: “These last couple of years, my life changed so much and my brother and I came to this festival a lot.

It appears that a new album from Frank Ocean is on the way, even if it didn't drop just after his Coachella headline set like the internet assumed.

Now, new show “Power Play” takes a closer look at her way to the top.  “She is aware that we made it,” says showrunner Johan Fasting, who co-wrote with Silje Storstein and Kristin Grue. Currently in her eighties, Brundtland wasn’t involved in developing the series, however.   “This story needed to be told, now. It wouldn’t make sense to wait just to be courteous.” Playing in main competition at his year’s Canneseries, which runs April 14-19, “Power Play” is produced by Motlys and Novemberfilm, with REinvent International Sales handling international distribution.

Radiohead‘s Jonny Greenwood has announced a new album with Israeli musician Dudu Tassa.‘Jarak Qaribak’ will come out on June 9 and is being previewed by a first single titled ‘Ashufak Shay’.Discussing the style of the music on the album in a press release, Tassa – who has previously toured with Radiohead – said: “When people listen to this music, I really love to imagine them thinking…what is this? It sounds 1970s, but there are drum machines, there are guitars but they’re singing in Arabic…what’s going on?”Greenwood discussed how the project compared to another past collaboration with an Israeli singer, Shye Ben Tzur, saying: “‘Jarak Qaribak’ presented a similar set of problems, in that you have all these scales which don’t conform to western major/minor scales, and have notes which involve quarter-tones, and it’s very hard to impose a chord sequence on these melodies. The Anchoress, aka Catherine Anne Davies, has spoken to NME about her new single – a cover of New Order’s ‘Bizarre Love Triangle’ – as well as her new album and upcoming Spring tour.Davies has shared a number of covers over the past year as part of ‘Bandcamp Friday’ – with her rendition of New Order’s 1986 the latest in a line of indie classics. She recently received kudos from collaborators Manic Street Preachers for her take on ‘This Is Yesterday’.“Whenever I’ve done covers, the criteria has always been: is this a great song, and is there something new or different I can bring to it?” Davies told NME, having already covered songs by the likes of The Cure, Depeche Mode and Blur.

Jenny Lewis has announced details of her fifth studio album, ‘Joy’All’, and shared its latest single ‘Psychos’.Produced by Dave Cobb, the new album is due out on June 9 via Blue Note/EMI and follows 2019’s ‘On The Line’. It was first previewed last year with the single ‘Puppy And A Truck’.Explaining how the album came together, Lewis said: “I started writing some of these songs on the road, pre-pandemic… and then put them aside as the world shut down. […] Then from my home in Nashville in early 2021, I joined a week-long virtual songwriting workshop with a handful of amazing artists, hosted by Beck.“The challenge was to write one song every day for seven days, with guidelines from Beck.

Naman Ramachandran U.K. broadcaster ITV has revealed the schedule changes brought about by the death of popular British presenter and comedian Paul O’Grady. At 5pm U.K. time on March 29 “Paul O’Grady’s For the Love of Dogs: A Royal Special” will be repeated on ITV1, replacing the repeat of “The Chase.” At 8pm U.K. time on April 9, ITV will broadcast “For the Love of Paul O’Grady” on ITV1, in tribute to the departed comedian. At 8:30pm on April 13, the new season of “Paul O’Grady: For the Love of Dogs” will air on ITV1, as planned.
