The person behind a stabbing outside a McDonald's in Salford is still being hunted by police, it has been confirmed this morning.
A 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital in a serious condition following the incident outside the fast food restaurant in Higher Broughton on Saturday night (March 4).
Officers from GMP rushed to the scene shortly after 7.10pm following reports of a concern for welfare on Basten Drive in Salford, close to the McDonald's restaurant.

"It is believed that the incident occurred outside the McDonalds restaurant in Higher Broughton, Salford," said GMP in their statement.
An investigation was subsequently launched. In an update on Sunday (March 5), police said the victim remains in hospital with serious, but not thought to be life-threatening, injuries.
The force confirmed that no arrests had yet been made as police patrols were stepped up in the area and emergency stop and search powers were evoked.
The force said a so-called 'section 60' order had been authorised in the area by a senior police officer. It allows officers in a prescribed area to stop and search individuals.
Officers remained at the scene last night to conduct further enquiries and establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
In a statement last night, Superintendent Mark Kenny, GMP said: "I have authorised a Section 60 within the local area to ensure enhanced stop and search powers are in force to provide extra reassurance to the local community and to prevent further offences.
"We will also be increasing our patrols across Higher Broughton area this evening to provide reassurance to the local community.
