Marcus Rashford has spoken of the importance of Manchester United's fans after they showed support for Bruno Fernandes.
Fernandes was branded a 'disgrace' by former United player Gary Neville on co-commentary towards the end of the match against Liverpool at the weekend and his performance received heavy scrutiny in the aftermath of the defeat.
When asked about Fernandes' showing at Anfield, Rashford and Erik ten Hag launched a defence of the 28-year-old at a pre-match press conference at Carrington on Wednesday and United fans also showed their support for him against Real Betis.

The midfielder was the first player to be serenaded by the singing section at the Stretford End when the players emerged for the start of the match on Thursday night and Rashford praised the supporters for sticking by Fernandes.
"Yeah, 100%, we're all as one when we come here on matchdays," Rashford said when asked about the support for Fernandes. "We need them [fans] and we need their support. It's always good for them to support players in moments that aren't ideal.
"Bruno was excellent again today. A good goal and his overall performance was very, very good, so everyone is pleased for him, pleased for Wout [Weghorst], pleased to get the win, so it's important we try to gain momentum again.
"Perfect for a No.9 [Weghorst's goal]. He's about scoring goals, that's what makes him happy. He does a tremendous job for the team, I think we all know that, but it's goals that will keep him smiling and happy. Hopefully, he gets some more.
"We've put ourselves in a good position in the tie but it's not finished yet, it's half a job done."
