Manchester United prodigy goes viral for Qu'ran recitation at Trafford Centre

A Manchester United academy player has gone viral over video of him reciting the Qu'ran. In a post by his brother, 15-year-old Amir Ibragimov is seen reciting a portion of Surah Al-Furqan inside the Trafford Centre.
The video which was posted by Amir's brother Ibragim Ibragimov has racked up over 6K likes on Instagram and has been shared widely on the platform. Many have taken to the comments to commend Amir's recitation describing it as "beautiful".

Last year Amir made headlines when he signed a new deal with Manchester United. The highly touted footballer signed a deal that will see him stay at the club throughout his scholarship period until he is eligible for professional terms when he turns 17.
The teenager is regarded as one of the most highly-rated players in United's academy system and captained the U14 side the season they won the Albert Phelan Cup against Man City. Born in Russia, Amir comes from a talented family with his older brother Ibragim, 18, a professional MMA fighter and their youngest brother Gazi also at the United academy playing for the U12 side.
What is Surah Al-Furqan?
Surah Al-Furqan is the 25th chapter of the Qu'ran and has 77 verses. The chapter discusses themes of belief in one God, discusses topics such as monotheism, resurrection, prophets of Islam and denounces the worship of idols.
