It appears as though Jacques O'Neill has shut the door firmly closed on any possible reconnection with Paige Thorne after seeing her move on with Adam Collard on the hit ITV dating programme Love Island. Following his early exit from the show, Jacques kept all of his photos with Paige up on his Instagram page, which boasts 1million followers.
But now, two weeks on, he's deleted all trace of her from his feed. Jacques, 23, and the 24 year old Welsh beauty were going strong while in the Majorcan villa until the Casa Amor episodes came around as he briefly had his head turned by Chayenne Kerr.
After he and Paige sorted through their issues around this saga, a second round of drama came as the former rugby league star went red-faced from anger as Gemma Owen told him Adam was "proper sl**ging you off". Jacques left the villa after a tearful goodbye with Paige and the rest of the Islanders and, shortly after this, he spoke out on why he made the difficult decision to return to the UK early.The Cumbrian athlete said following Adam's arrival he "just wanted to go home" to "get myself right".
And even though the show's producers attempted to convince him to reconsider, he said he feared things could soon "go horribly wrong" if he hadn't chosen to leave. Jacques even suggested things with Adam could have progressed to becoming "physical".
