Love Island viewers have been left furious after the latest instalment unveiled which couples were at risk of being dumped during the penultimate instalment. Many had been convinced Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins, both 25, and Kai Fagan, 24, and Sanam Harrinanan, 24, were going straight through to the final, having recently become the fan-favourite couples in the villa. But the islanders' bold decisions stopped everyone in their tracks.
The couples that seemed to be a sure bet were suddenly at risk of being dumped as it was announced they could leave on Sunday. And previous fan-favourites Will Young, 23, and Jessie Wynter, 26, who fans were convinced is playing a game when she asked Will to be her boyfriend, were also left exposed too. While the final decision is down to the public to decide who is dumped at the last hurdle on Sunday night and who makes it through to the final, many are fuming that it has limited their choices.
In recent weeks, and after being in the bottom for compatibility on numerous occasions, Shaq Muhammad and Tanya Manhenga seemed to be a high possibility to be the last couple leaving the villa. But as the islanders kept them safe, viewers are unable to vote for them to leave before the final instead. Hashing out their frustrations on Twitter, one fan raged: "You’re telling me no one voted for Shaq and Tanya?? Shut up.” "No one voted for shaq and tanya??? is everyone okay?” another person demanded.
"HOW did tanya and shaq and samie and tom get NO votes???” a third asked. Ron and Lana received two votes, as did Will and Jessie, and Kai and Sanam got one. While tensions simmered in the villa following the result, Ron and Lana and Will and Jessie aired their secret straight away.
