Love Island 2023 winner revealed as Kai and Sanam as she drops L-bomb

Love Island's Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan were crowned as the 2023 winter series winners on Monday night, winning a staggering £50,000. During the live instalment, hosted by Maya Jama - who fans were left worried for during the windy weather, finalists Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins, Shaq Muhammad and Tanya Manhenga, Tom Clare and Samie Elishi, and Kai and Sanam, excitedly awaited to hear the winner.
Revealed in fourth place was Shaq and Tanya, who revealed they felt like they had "already won" by finding each other in the ITV2 villa. Next in third place was Tom and Samie, who said they had "so much to experience on the outside" as they teased going official with each other.
It was then revealed that Kai and Sanam, as well as Ron and Lana, were the final two - with the latter finishing in second place, leaving a stunned Kai and Sanam as the winners. Sanam was left speechless, as she admitted: "Oh my God, I can't believe it, I'm still shocked to be here!" Prior to the results, Maya sat down with each couple to discuss their time in the villa and being in the final.To which Sanam sweetly dropped the L-bomb, revealing that she was in love with Kai - leaving Maya, as well as fans at home, giddy with excitement.
Sanam said: "For me, it was always Kai, I always said he was my number one. Obviously he's a very attractive guy, but apart from the looks, I fell in love with..." to which she screamed and covered her mouth over dropping the L-bomb, leaving the audience screaming in excitement.
