While speaking to ET's Rachel Smith, Sebastian opened up about teaming up with the screen legend as well as working on his upcoming Max series, . In the movie, which opens in theaters on Friday, May 26, De Niro portrays a version of Maniscalco's immigrant, hairdresser father, Salvo Maniscalco, who finds himself amid a culture clash with the parents of his son's fiancée (Leslie Bibb) after their two families get together for a summer weekend. «It's a classic situation between the in-laws,» De Niro said of the movie, describing Bibb's onscreen family as «very waspy and just the opposite of Salvo.» And as a result, «there's a lot of humor in it,» he said, adding that «anybody can relate to it.»  But when it came to telling this heightened version of his father, Maniscalco revealed, «My father said, 'You're not going to make this movie unless you get De Niro to play me,'» before joking that Salvo got to approve whoever ended up in the titular role.

Ryuichi Sakamoto's management have shared a playlist he compiled to be played at his funeral. Sakamoto died earlier this year and, per a statement released alongside the funeral playlist, "lived with music until the very end." The playlist was created privately but has now been shared with the public.

Ryuichi Sakamoto have been gathered on a new Milan Records compilation, ‘Travesía’.The album — which is available to listen to now — has been curated by Oscar-winning Mexican director Alejandro González Iñárritu, with the album’s title translating to ‘journey’ in Spanish.Sakamoto collaborated with the acclaimed director alongside alva noto for the soundtrack of Iñárritu’s 2015 film The Revenant starring Leonardo DiCaprio.Originally intended to be a surprise project celebrating the Japanese composer’s 70th birthday, the new compilation is a result of nearly two years of planning and six months of Iñárritu listening to more than 1000 pieces.“When Jean Christophe Chamboredon from Milan Records, and Norika Sora, Ryuichi’s manager, invited me to this project, my first instinct was to resist,” Iñárritu said in a press statement. “Sakamoto’s musical universe is so vast that the responsibility to honor him by choosing only 20 stars from his complex galaxy would be practically impossible.

According to Corrine, the Oscar-winning actor is out of the hospital and has been “recuperating” for weeks. Angelique Jackson Pedro Pascal is the latest A-lister in talks for Ridley Scott’s upcoming “Gladiator” sequel. Pascal, who stars in both “The Mandalorian” and “The Last of Us,” is in final negotiations to join the Paramount movie, joining a cast that already boasts Academy Award nominees Paul Mescal and Barry Keoghan, as well as two-time Academy Award winner Denzel Washington. The Paramount movie follows 2000’s blockbuster hit “Gladiator,” which was nominated for 12 Academy Awards and won five, including best picture. It earned $460 million at the box office. The original film starred Russell Crowe as Maximus Decimus Meridius, a Roman soldier forced into slavery who vows revenge against Commodus (Joaquin Phoenix). Since Maximus dies at the end of “Gladiator,” the yet-to-be-titled sequel focuses on Lucius (Mescal), the son of Lucilla (Connie Nielsen, who is set to reprise her role).
