The Grammys are receiving backlash after disgraced comedian Louis C.K. won the award for Best Comedy Album at tonight’s event (April 3).The comedian won the trophy for his 2020 special ‘Sincerely Louis C.K.’, in which he addressed allegations of sexual misconduct made against him in 2017.Multiple women claimed that C.K. had masturbated in front of them, which he admitted to in a statement, saying: “These stories are true.”He did not attend the ceremony in Las Vegas to collect the award, for which he was nominated alongside Lavell Crawford, Chelsea Handler, Lewis Black and Kevin Hart.

Eric Kops has been elevated to the new role of Lionsgate’s Head of Global Communications & Earned Media in the conglom’s motion picture division.

Liston was promoted to lead the Global Marketing department last year. She previously held the job and Kops will report to Liston.“Eric could not be more respected for his creativity, intelligence, experience, and leadership skills, which made him the perfect choice to head up the department,” Liston said in a statement.

He will oversee creative, digital and strategy for Lionsgate’s global motion picture marketing department and report to Marisa Liston, president of Global Marketing.

Recent SAG Award-winner Hoyeon (Squid Game) has joined the cast of Apple TV+’s upcoming thriller series Disclaimer, and will appear opposite stars Cate Blanchett and Kevin Kline. The series, based on the novel of the same name by Renee Knight, hails from Roma helmer Alfonso Cuarón who writes and directs the series.
