Naman Ramachandran The first look images from Lenny Henry’s “Three Little Birds,” executive produced by “It’s a Sin” creator Russell T Davies, have been unveiled. The series stars Rochelle Neil (“The Nevers”), Yazmin Belo (“What Just Happened”) and Saffron Coomber (“Tracey Beaker Returns”). Designed as a celebration of immigration, community and the strength of Black womanhood, the series is inspired by the stories of Henry’s mother. Set in 1957, it follows sisters Leah (Neil) and Chantrelle (Coomber) and their virtuous, bible-loving acquaintance, Hosanna (Belo), as they board a cruise ship from Jamaica bound for a new life in Britain. Once they reach they discover that life is not smooth sailing but are determined to succeed and overcome the many obstacles of integration and build a new life in Britain.

K.J. Yossman “Doctor Who” has just added another star to its roster: 14-year-old Lenny Rush. Rush is set to join the fourteenth season of the re-booted series as a mysterious figure called Morris. He’ll star alongside Ncuti Gatwa, who will take the mantle from David Tennant as the new Timelord, and Millie Gibson as Ruby Sunday. Indira Varma also stars as a new character known only as the Duchess while Jonathan Groff joins in “a mysterious and exciting guest role,” according to the BBC. In May, Rush won a BAFTA award for best male performance in a comedy for his role in “Am I Being Unreasonable” alongside Daisy May Cooper.

Naomi Campbell with the inaugural Jacqueline Avant HollyRod Humanitarian Award, the nonprofit announced on Monday. The HollyRod Foundation is committed to raising awareness and providing resources for those who have a loved one who has been diagnosed with autism or Parkinson’s disease.  “Celebrating the 25th anniversary of HollyRod Foundation fills my heart with immense gratitude and pride,” said Holly Robinson Peete, founder of the nonprofit. “We are especially thrilled to be honoring our amazing friend Naomi Campbell with the inaugural Jacqueline Avant Award this year. Jacqueline was like a second mother to me as well as my philanthropic mentor. She and her husband Clarence were founding donors to get HollyRod started and supported us unwaveringly for the entire 25 years. We will never stop speaking Jacqueline’s name or honoring her legacy.”

iHeartRadio has announced the exciting lineup for the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Festival, which is going to take place in Las Vegas in September.

McKinley Franklin editor Fall Out Boy, Kelly Clarkson, Kane Brown and Lil Wayne are among the several acts set to perform at this year’s iHeartRadio Music Festival, scheduled for Sept. 22 and 23 in Las Vegas. The two-day festival will be hosted by Ryan Seacrest and will be broadcasted live via iHeartMedia radio stations. Also joining the lineup are Foo Fighters, Lenny Kravitz, Miguel, Public Enemy, Sheryl Crow, Tim McGraw, TLC and Thirty Seconds to Mars. The stars shined bright in the City of Light for Beyoncé’s concert on Friday. The celebrated songstress hit up Paris for a stop on her Renaissance World Tour, and a slew of A-listers came out to watch the show.

Beyoncé and JAY-Z's daughter, Rumi, was on hand to watch her big sister, Blue Ivy, make a surprise appearance during Bey's Renaissance World Tour, and Rumi couldn't look prouder!A fan account took to Twitter on Saturday morning and shared a one-minute video of the moment the 5-year-old, who also has a twin brother, Sir, cheered from a luxury box Friday night while sitting with friends and family at Stade de France in Paris. The video was overlayed with the text, «POV: I saw Beyoncé's 3 children from my seat at Renaissance Tour,» though there was no sign of Sir. Lenny Kravitz is remembering his mother as being a woman who never judged anybody. Kravitz is famously known for wearing eccentric, sometimes women's clothes during the start of his career in the 80s and 90s.  When he first debuted on the music scene, members of the musician's inner circle were worried on how his mother would take his fashion choices.

Thania Garcia Beyoncé paused her Renaissance tour stop in Paris on Friday to honor Tina Turner, an artist she has routinely referred to as her greatest influence, in the wake of the singer’s death earlier this week. “I just want to take a second and honor Tina Turner,” Beyoncé told the crowd at the Stade de France. “If you’re a fan of mine, you’re a fan of Tina Turner. I wouldn’t be on this stage without Tina Turner, so I want you guys to just scream, so she can feel your love. I feel so blessed that I was allowed to witness her brilliance.” Beyoncé was heavily inspired by Turner’s artistry and authenticity. As Beyoncé said during her 2005 tribute to Turner at the Kennedy Center Awards, “Every now and then, when I think of inspiration, I think of the two Tinas in my life — that’s my mother, Tina, and of course, the amazing Tina Turner.”

The tour heads over to London next for two nights (May 29-30) at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.It's not the first time Blue Ivy's made an appearance onstage with her famous mom.
