Lady Amelia Spencer has married Greg Mallett, three years after the pair got engaged. Amelia, who is the niece of the late Princess Diana, has been with her now-husband for 14 years. It’s thought the pair were surrounded by their nearest and dearest for their special day, including Amelia’s father Charles Spencer – Diana’s younger brother – and her twin sister, Eliza.
Charles is a proud dad to six children. He shares daughters Eliza, Amelia and Kitty, as well as son Louis, with his first wife Victoria Lockwood, as well as two children, Edmund and Lara, with second wife Caroline Freud. He is now married to Karen Gordon, whom he doesn’t have any children with.
Amelia and Greg recently teased that their nuptials were imminent in a sweet snap of them together shared to Instagram a few days ago. In the photo, Amelia lovingly looked at her then-fiancé as the pair teased: “Not long now…” Speaking about their wedding to HELLO! and why they chose to wed in South Africa, Amelia told the publication: "Growing up here together for the last 14 years, all of mine and Greg’s happiest times as a couple are here. It’s even more special now.” Meanwhile, Greg warmly shared that he’s wanted to wed Amelia ever since they started dating over a decade ago.
Greg previously labelled the day they got engaged as “the best day of my life”. Alongside loved-up photos of the pair in 2020 where Amelia proudly showcased her engagement ring, Greg wrote on Instagram: “So this was the best day of my life. 22nd of July 2020, I asked the love of my life to spend the rest of her life with me and she said YES.
