Kerry Katona praised as she strips off to her underwear for workout with ‘no filters’

Former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona championed body positivity on Friday as she shared a workout video of herself in nothing but her underwear to champion seeing real bodies without filters. The 42 year old star took to Instagram to document her workout, which featured the star performing a series of moves including leg raises, stretches and sit ups, in nothing but a black sports bra and knickers.
Ditching social media filters to show herself in all her natural glory, Kerry also accompanied the short video clip with an explanation about why she was exercising without her usual gym wear. “WARNING Avert your eyes now!” the star began her post with a tongue in cheek warning.
She then continued: “Yes that’s right no f@@king filters!! I know it’s not a pretty sight but it’s real!!!” Kerry then went on to explain that she had been following the Francis Diet and part of the accompanying fitness plan meant that the star needed to workout, however in an accidental mix up, she had forgotten to take her gym kit with her to her mums. The former queen of the I’m a Celebrity jungle then explained: “Stayed at my mums last night and forgot to pack my gym wear!! NO EXCUSES Get your s**t done! Even if it does mean scaring the postman in morning when he peeps in through the window!!!!” Clearly proud of her accomplishment, Kerry then added: “Even without my gym gear I did @mfitofficial workout! I have complete faith in the process!!” Despite her success, the workout wasn’t without some drawbacks, as Kerry bravely revealed that exposing herself like that had been an “extremely vulnerable” experience.
