Lance Reddick was on everyone’s mind as they descended on the TCL Chinese Theatre for the premiere of John Wick: Chapter 4 on Monday (March 20) in Hollywood, Calif.
The actor tragically passed away at 60 last week, leaving his castmates including Keanu Reeves heartbroken just a few days before their movie arrives in theaters.
To honor Lance‘s memory the cast and crew asked everyone to wear blue ribbons on their outfit during the premiere. Keanu also memorialized him on the red carpet.

“Every time you were in his presence, he was such a special person, special artist, and he had a grace and dignity, and a passion for life and his craft. Just to be in his light and to be in his presence and get a chance to work with him, every day was special,” Keanu told The Hollywood Reporter during an interview.
This isn’t the first time Keanu has spoken about Lance.
Co-star Laurence Fishburne described their missing castmate as “the heart of these movies in many ways” in an interview of his own.
Natalia Tena, Shamier Anderson, Rina Sawayama, Hiroyuki Sanada, Ian McShane, Clancy Brown, Scott Adkins, Marko Zaror joined Keanu for a group photo on the red carpet.
