Kanye «Ye» West's attorney has filed legal documents in court objecting to Kim Kardashian's request that she be legally declared single, saying he first wants his assets protected via a set of conditions that the rapper's lawyer claims his estranged wife has already rejected.In legal docs, obtained by ET, West wants the court to deny Kardashian's request to become legally single because «the motion does not provide the protections necessary for an early termination of marital status.» West's attorney laid out those concerns in docs, saying that declaring Kardashian single «before custody, property, and support issues are resolved creates a risk of adverse consequences.»The  rapper's lawyer says «this is especially true if one of the parties were to pass away while the case is pending.» Furthermore, West's lawyer argues that should the court declare Kardashian legally single, it would create «barriers to obtaining evidence if a party remarries before the case is concluded.»For starters, West's lawyer wants Kardashian to agree to a «right of reimbursement,» meaning that any money owed to each other would get reimbursed in the event one of them died. But West's lawyer claims «Kim’s counsel has asserted that this condition is unnecessary given the premarital agreement.»West also wants to ensure that no assets are transferred out of trusts they've created.

Two months after Kim Kardashian asked a judge to declare her “legally single” by “terminating and bifurcating” her marriage to Kanye West, the rapper has responded with legal documents of his own. Kanye’s documents, obtained by HollywoodLife, object to Kim’s request. “The Court should deny [Kim]’s request for a separate trial on the termination of marital status because the motion does not provide the protections necessary for an early termination of marital status,” Kanye claims in his documents.

Pete Davidson, 28, is trying to “stay away” from Kanye West, 44, after the rapper took to social media to publicly declare his desire to get back with his estranged wife Kim Kardashian, 41, and shade her new romance with the comedian. In a series of now-deleted Instagram posts he published this past week, Ye revealed he’s hoping to get his “family back” and shared various posts that trolled Pete, including one that asked his followers to scream “Kimye,” his couple nickname with Kim, at the Saturday Night Live star if they ever saw him in person.

“I don’t have beef with Kim [Kardashian],” Kanye West wrote, in all caps, at the start of one of the Instagram posts he shared on Monday (Feb. 14). The message came after Ye, 44, spent the weekend attacking Pete Davidson and an hour before Ye encouraged his followers to verbally harass the Saturday Night Live star. “I love my family, so stop that narrative. I’m not giving up on my family,” wrote Ye. Along with his lengthy message, the “Off The Grid” rapper shared a photo of Kim, 41, exiting a car in a floor-length silvery fur coat. “I bought this coat for Kim before SNL. I thought it was particularly special.”
