Big Brother fans are so confused by Julie Chen‘s actions following the latest episode of the long-running reality series.
During all of the live episodes that have aired during the pandemic, Julie has told contestants that they were not allowed to hug her amid their exits from the house due to the pandemic. She always gives them an air-hug instead, despite the fact that the contestants have all been in isolation for weeks or sometimes months.
On Thursday night (September 22), the “Cookout” alliance from last season reunited on stage to talk about the current state of the Big Brother game.
Fans were quick to notice that Julie gave them all hugs, even though they have been out in the real world. So, why was she willing to hug them over the contestants, who have little to no chance of having COVID-19?

“Saturday Night Live” has undergone a lot of retooling over the summer — with a lot of castmembers exiting the show and four new actors signing on. So they made sure to address the slew of differences with a self-referential cold-open featuring the night’s host, Miles Teller.
has undergone a lot of retooling over the summer — with a lot of castmembers exiting the show and four new actors signing on. So they made sure to address the slew of differences with a self-referential cold-open featuring the night's host,Miles Teller.Teller played Payton Manning, joined by his brother Eli Manning (Andrew Dismukes), as they live-commented on the cold-open sketch, and brutally criticized the sketch. The bit got even more meta when Jon Hamm joined Payton and Eli as a special guest commentator and all three of them got in on the fun of making fun of the cast's gaffes in the sketch-within-a-sketch.At one point, Shawn White showed up for a one-line cameo and Hamm joked, «Well, you know, sometimes they need to bring in a real celebrity when the host isn't that famous… I mean, they couldn't get the star of the big summer movie, like, Tom Cruise or John Hamm, they had to get the costar.»Payton (again, played by Teller, the night's host) indignantly replied, «Well, I heard they rarely put the hosts in cold open, so when they do, it is special.»«Special? Or is it desperate?» Hamm shot back.By using the sketch-within-a-sketch conceit, the show managed to not only poke fun at themselves, they got a chance to introduce all the new castmembers while also ingratiating themselves to new audiences with a bit of self-deprecation.Now only time will tell how the new, remarkably smaller cast will gel over the course of the season.

SPOILER ALERT – Do not continue reading if you don’t want to know what happened on the season finale Big Brother!
It's been 82 days of some of the most controversial and divisive gameplay in recent memory, but Season 24 has finally crowned a new champion.Sunday's two-hour finale all came down to the final three houseguests — who, coincidentally, were also all members of the defunct Leftovers Alliance, which ruled the house for several weeks before falling apart in dramatic fashion during the Split House Twist midway through the season. The whole season came down to Taylor Hale, Matthew «Turner» Turner, and Monte Taylor. So who won the title of champion? Otherwise, here's how everything played out during Sunday's jampacked finale! After last week's eviction of Brittany Hoopes, the pressure was on for the final three, who would have to face off in a series of three Head of Household competitions to see who would be the final HOH, and have full power to decide which houseguest joined them in the final two.As always, this late in the game, feeling out alliances can be tricky when there are only two people left, and Monte has been playing both sides of the field — making promises to his close friend Turner and similar promises to Taylor, with whom he's seemingly gotten close to in recent weeks.Taylor's place in the final three is a miracle in its own right and has had one of the most undeniably incredible comeback stories in the history of the show. Early in the season, everyone (including Monte) seemed to have it out for Taylor, to a level that many viewed as problematic and racially motivated.
