Katie Price's recent stint on Channel 5 programme Jeremy Vine went down like a lead balloon, it seems.The 45 year old ex-model took a seat opposite talkshow host Jeremy, 57, on Friday, but the general consensus from viewers wasn't a pleasant one, as the majority believed that she dodged the bigger questions and wasted airtime with talk of plastic surgery. "It's a fact I've had more boob jobs than I've slept with men - there's not many women at my age who can say they haven't had that many men," was one of her standout quotes.
When Katie described her month-long visit to Thailand as "not really a holiday", though, that's what really sent many fans over the edge, with claims that Jeremy Vine had reached a "new low" by broadcasting it. Katie went on to confess: "When we were in the makeup room, I looked in the mirror and thought 'I am so ugly'.
I now look in the mirror and think 'Ahhh, no more on the face' because you get that 'surgery look' and I've got that!" While the mum-of-five insisted that she's "done that to myself", her views on cosmetic procedures have become more severe lately. "I started my career when they had no airbrushing and it wasn't how [it is now]," she explained, before suggesting age of consent for surgery should be at least 21.
Jeremy, who was a member of the Strictly Come Dancing 2015 cast, went on to ask whether she'd be "heading off on another" extended holiday any time soon, to which the Mucky Mansion star replied: "Not yet, but I am in a couple of weeks." Typing on social media, one enraged Jeremy Vine fan posted: "This has to be an all time low for the show. Is it Gemma Collins next followed by Joey Essex? Your show really is becoming trash TV."
