Jennifer Aniston spoke very candidly about her wellness journey, the people who inspired it and the famous co-star who benefits from it in a series of interviews.
The 54-year-old Friends actress explained to USA Today how her parents’ health struggles made her pursue a different path.
“God bless my parents who are no longer with us, but they were not the specimens of health,” she shared. “My dad still lived to be 89 years old, shockingly, but that’s probably stubborn Greek genes.”
In comparison, she joked that she goes by “Dr. Aniston” to her friends.
“Just because I’m always up on the newest technology and (wondering) how can we improve our health in any way we can,” she added.
It turns out that a very famous friend is always asking for health advice, which she revealed in a separate interview.

According to Jennifer, her The Morning Show co-star Reese Witherspoon turns to her whenever she has a question.
“Reese loves to come to me and say, ‘What’s the latest? What do you got for me?’ Usually [I] tell her my new tips and tricks,” the Dr. told InStyle.
