Jamie McGrath fires Celtic warning as Dundee United star insists they face 'different story' from Tannadice mauling

Jamie McGrath vows Celtic will see a far different Dundee United team from the one they last tortured at Tannadice. Ange Postecoglou’s ruthless league leaders hit United 9-0 back in August – in a match that brought an end to Jack Ross’s short stay.
United did put up a far sterner test in November, where they battled back to 2-2 all before two stoppage-time goals nicked it for the Bhoys. The Taysiders have since stepped up the gears and lost just once since the World Cup return. Ahead of the Premiership clash McGrath said: “Celtic are playing well at the minute. They have shown their qualities in the last few years under Ange Postecoglou.
“They are clicking into gear and it will be a tough game. They play on the front foot and are very aggressive. But we were very unlucky not to take something out of the last game at Celtic Park.
"We were tying the game at 2-2 in the 90th minute and we lost 4-2 but we can take positives from that performance. The last time they came to Tannadice it was a different story but we are in a better place now.”
The Irishman admitted that early season hammering was hard to take and said: “It’s tough but we’re working tirelessly to be a better team and we are starting to show that every week. We need a few more things to click and we will be a right good team.”
The 26-year-old reckons there has been real progress under United head coach Liam Fox and insisted: “We are in a better patch of form since the break. We have been unlucky not to take all three points in a couple of games, the Hearts and Hibs games spring to mind. We fully merited the three points in those games.
