Coronation Street star Georgia Taylor has made a cheeky comment about her new partner after confirming her new romance with her former on-screen husband. The actress, who plays Toyah Habeeb in the ITV soap, went 'Instagram official' with Charlie De Melo at the end of last month with a string of snaps from her birthday break.
The couple headed off to Edinburgh where Georgia was celebrating her 43rd birthday. Georgia first posted a picture of the scenic view of the city from the top of the ancient volcano which is the main peak of the group of hills in Edinburgh. Meanwhile, Charlie, who left ITV's Corrie last year after Imran Habeed died following a car accident caused by Toyah, sported a black coat as he grinned towards the camera.

"Birthday weekend. An ancient volcano, a castle, many, many, many steps, deep-fried confectionery and a very fine moustachioed gentleman," she captioned the lovely post. And now, Georgia has joked that there is one reason she has decided to strike up a relationship with her former co-star.
"I’m only with him for the puppies," she typed
