Coronation Street fans think they have worked out an upcoming storyline that will cause shockwaves on the cobbles after 'smelling an affair'. Fans of the ITV soap saw Sarah Barlow drinking with the enemy during the first trip of the week to Weatherfield on Monday night (March 20).
After a furious Nick Tilsely confronted Adam Barlow over his decision to legally represent Damon Hay after running drugs through the Bistro and setting up a siege on the street, Sarah was equally as angry at her husband as she showed her support for her brother.
Sarah then stormed off to the hotel he'd booked for their date night on her own and ordered a glass of wine in the bar, and sat down next to Damon, unaware this was the man causing all these problems. As Damon chatted her up, Sarah admitted she’d had a row with her husband.

As they continued to get along, a flirty Sarah agreed to let Damon up to her room to share the bottle of champagne Adam had ordered for them. Eventually, Sarah came to her senses when she opened a card with a loving message from her man and she asked him to leave.
Later, a panicked Sarah met up with Damon in secret to tell him to stay away from her. But the pair only ended up seemingly flirting once again and made it clear there was something between them, leaving Corrie fans to suspect an affair is on the way. @conormckenna101 tweeted: "There’s chemistry between Sarah and Damon. I reckon an affair is definitely on the horizon #corrie."
