ITV has confirmed who will present This Morning on Monday (May 22) after Phillip Schofield's departure from the show.
On Saturday (May 20) Schofield announced he was stepping down from presenting the talk show with 'immediate effect' after more than 20 years on the programme.
Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary will now host This Morning on Monday following Phillip Schofield’s departure, ITV has confirmed.

Hammond and O’Leary, who co-host the show on Fridays, will be on the sofa in their absence on Monday morning. However, ITV have not yet confirmed who will host for the rest of the week. The pair are both hot contenders to take over Schofield’s role given their experience on the show.
Holly Willoughby, who Schofield has hosted alongside since 2009, will remain on the show but she is taking early half term holiday leave next week and will return on June 5. ITV has said Willoughby will 'co-present with members of the This Morning family' in the interim.
Last Thursday marked Schofield’s last day on the show as the broadcaster said he will not be returning for a final episode.
Schofield, who also shared the news in a post to his Instagram story, said in a statement: “I have always been proud to cover fascinating stories on This Morning. But recently, This Morning itself has become the story. Throughout my career in TV – including the very difficult last few days – I have always done my best to be honourable and kind.
“I understand that ITV has decided the current situation can’t go on, and I want to do what I can to protect the show that I love. So I have agreed to step down from This Morning with immediate effect, in the hope that the show can move
