Home expert's cleaning hack makes dusty surfaces 'sparkling' for just £1.50

No matter how often you clean your house, dust can easily gather on surfaces making it look messy and uncared for.
This problem is especially bad in the winter, when you're less likely to open the windows throughout the day. This means that dust and other debris such as pet hair have less chance of escaping your home, and it'll gather on your tables, windowsills and other furniture.

Ryan McDonough, an interior design specialist, says that all you need for dust-free wooden surfaces is a splash of baby oil.
He understands that dust can be a real pain on these kinds of tables as it's more likely to show up and look dirty, but using a small amount of this oil will quickly change that.
Ryan said: "£1.50 baby oil could leave your wooden surfaces dust-free and sparkling. Simply apply a small amount of oil to a cleaning cloth and wipe the wooden surfaces in circular motions. Be sure not to try this on your wooden floors as this could cause them to be slippery."

For elsewhere in the home, Ryan has shared some more tips for removing dust and keeping them looking fresh all winter long.
These are particularly useful for cleaning your skirting boards, which can get really dusty over time.

"Wipe down all of the
