Discount retailer Home Bargains, on occasion, will get in some new product lines that retail for a LOT more elsewhere, from Kiwi bath products, to Eclat Skincare. Some of the beauty buys have retailed for up to £80, sold at the high street store for under £5.
And now, a hairdresser has pointed out an ‘insane’ deal which sees a popular shampoo and conditioner brand used in salons selling for £3.99 each.
The bargain was highlighted on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains Group Facebook page by Wendy Keen, who picked up two of the bottles in the Tamworth store.

Wendy’s post showed two bottles of Philip Kingsley products, a moisture balancing combination shampoo, and a re-moisturising smoothing conditioner. Both products are still available to buy on Marks and Spencer’s website, priced at £17 per bottle.
At Home Bargains, shoppers can save £13.01 on the haircare products, with stylist Holly Robinson confirming just how good of a deal it was to get the ‘expensive’ salon shampoos for a snip of the price.
In a comment, she wrote: “As a hairdresser who used to use this in a salon this stuff is insane and for that price I will be heading there myself. This is a bargain and an excellent product!
“I still use the treatments now in my salon, as with any product you have to use it consistently and for a good month or 2 to see any benefits. People tend to use it once or twice and rate it as rubbish but it's not so much what the outside of the hair feels like it's what it does to the structure of your hair that's why we use after products such as serums etc.
“Use it properly with the right advice and you'll be glad you paid that price for a salon
