Fans went wild earlier this year when it was revealed that David Schwimmer would be entering the country's most famous tent. The Friends icon was named among the 20 famous faces taking part in this year's celebrity version of The Great British Bake Off.
Across five episodes, due to air from Sunday, March 19, at 7.45pm, the line-up of celebrities will be doing their bit in aid of Stand Up To Cancer, a joint national fundraising campaign from Cancer Research UK and Channel 4.
David, who is famed for playing Ross Geller in the American sitcom from 1994 to 2004, will be joined by TOWIE icon Gemma Collins, Top Gear host Paddy McGuinness, Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson, Loose Women panellists Coleen Nolan and Judi Love, The Walking Dead star David Morrissey, The Inbetweeners actor Joe Thomas, comedian and Strictly contestant Ellie Taylor, fellow former Strictly star AJ Odudu, comedian Lucy Beaumont and Man Down sitcom star Mike Wozniak.

Other celebs set to showcase their baking skills are The Repair Shop star Jay Blades, Olympic diver Tom Daley, Murder in Successville star Tom Davis, actress Jessica Hynes, actor and comedian Tim Key, comedian Rose Matafeo, Dragons' Den star Deborah Meaden and DJ Adele Roberts.
But back to David and when speaking about his reasons for signing up to the show, the normally-private TV star told the Mirror that he was a “massive fan” of the Channel 4 hit and that he wanted to have fun, but he was also keen to draw more attention to the disease that has had an impact on his own family.
