Manchester United icon Eric Cantona has admitted he is only a fan of Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola in today's football climate.
Cantona scored 81 goals in 182 appearances for United and was pivotal for them as they won four Premier League titles, two FA Cups and five Community Shields. Despite having a place in the hearts of all those of a red persuasion, the 57-year-old insisted he only admired the work of Guardiola now.
Speaking to The Guardian about the Catalan coach, Cantona said: "I like Guardiola. He’s an artist, a creator.

"Everything he does, nobody has done it before. He is the spiritual son of Johan Cruyff."
When asked if there was any players he enjoyed watching, the former forward replied: "What I love in football today is only the work of Guardiola." Later in the interview, Cantona was asked about the United takeover saga but the Frenchman remained firm about his desire to only speak about the City boss.
"Don’t speak about that," he said. "No. I prefer to speak to you about Guardiola, the positive things in football, than to speak about this kind of thing."
Guardiola is on the verge of creating history at City. The Blues are still chasing a historic treble after clinching the Premier League last month.
Standing in their way is United on Saturday in the FA Cup final and Inter Milan a week later in the Champions League final. Should he accomplish this feat, Guardiola has already committed to remaining at the Etihad Stadium next year.
