One area that has consistently been a property hotspot is Broadheath in Trafford. Historically part of Cheshire, the town is set in the affluent area of Altrincham and due to its popularity, prices here have gone up by 20 percent over the last year.
In the last six months alone, the average house price here has gone up by £54,585 from £303,094 in October 2022 to £357,679 in March 2023 - which is the biggest increase out of all areas in Greater Manchester.
Bramhall, which is the most expensive area to buy a home in the Stockport borough, has seen property prices rise a large amount in the last six months.
The desirable neighbourhood, which boasts modern mansions and large countryside estates, now has an average house price of £495,536, which has gone up by £49,275 from £446,261 in October 2022.
