Judy Fitzgerald, who appeared on popular dating show First Dates has passed away unexpectedly at the the age of 32.The former Miss Bikini Ireland model, who won the competition in 2014, and has since worked as a frontline nurse and midwife is reported to have tragically passed away on Saturday. Limerick passed away unexpectedly on 27th May 2023. "Sadly missed by her heartbroken parents Liam and Imelda, sister Lucy, brother William, brother-in-law Pedro, extended members of the Fitzgerald and Martin Families and a large circle of friends." She appeared on an episode of First Dates in Ireland last year.
In 2015 Judy walked the catwalk at New York Fashion Week, after which she said that the experience had been a "dream come true". Judy continued to work in modelling and social media, alongside her medical career, and regularly appeared in Irish press as a mental health ambassador and advocate.
Since the announcement of her tragic death, tributes have been pouring in with fashion designer Venera Tabakin leading the way as she posted a number of photos herself and Judy, which she captioned: "R.I.P Judy Fitzgerald my little Model and friend Miss Bikini and Celebrity of Ireland."
