Sarah Ferguson claimed she “hasn’t really met” Meghan Markle - after the Sussexes said it was the Duchess of York who taught her to curtsy. Fergie, the mother of Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, made the comment in a recent interview. But the statement appears to be in direct contradiction to claims by Prince Harry, 38, and Meghan, 41, who recalled having drinks with the Duchess of York at her home, Royal Lodge in Windsor.
The Sussexes, in both their controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey and in Harry’s bombshell book Spare, said it was Fergie, 63, who taught Meghan how to curtsy ahead of her first meeting with the late Queen Elizabeth II. However, in an interview with The Telegraph, Sarah Ferguson said: “I don’t really know Meghan. I haven’t really met her.” Later in the interview, Fergie said she did speak to the Duchess of Sussex at the Queen's funeral in September, adding: “She looked absolutely beautiful.
