Nickelodeon‘s new series Erin & Aaron has cast Ava Ro (Big Top Academy)and Jensen Gering (Wickensburg) as the titular duo, respectively.
The music-driven comedy will premiere two episodes on Thursday, April 20, at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT. Following the premiere, new episodes of the 13-episode-long season will be available on Nickelodeon weekly on Thursdays. The full season of Erin & Aaron will premiere on Netflix outside the U.S. this fall.

The series follows teenage stepsiblings Erin and Aaron as they navigate their new lives after their parent’s marriage, and find strength in their shared passion for music. The multi-camera series will feature original songs and performances throughout the season.
Rounding out the cast is Larisa Oleynik (10 Things I Hate About You) as Sylvia; David S Jung (I Think You Should Leave) as Chuck; and Pyper Braun (Country Comfort) as Natasha.

The series is created by Dicky Murphy (Danger Force, The Thundermans), who also serves as executive producer alongside showrunners Sean Cunningham and Marc Dworkin (Julie and the Phantoms, The Thundermans). Wendy Faraone (That Girl Lay Lay, Bunk’d) directs the first three episodes.

Elsa Keslassy International Correspondent Viaplay’s newly launched U.S. streaming service has unveiled the trailer for its anticipated original crime series “Cell 8” which will premiere exclusively in North America on the platform on April 13. The 6-episode series shot in both Swedish and English, and revolves around the justice system and death penalty. “Cell 8” tells the story of a man presumed dead who is arrested on a ferry between Sweden and Finland. Detectives Mariana Hermansson (Mimosa Willamo) and Ewert Grens (Leonard Terfelt) who proceed to the arrest are thrown into a mysterious and increasingly dark series of events. The case soon reveals a personal connection not only to Hermansson herself, but to a Death Row prisoner in the U.S. and a grieving parent consumed by the quest for revenge.
Pete Davidson, Joe Pesci and Edie Falco, will premiere May 4, the streamer announced Wednesday. As part of the reveal, Peacock also shared first-look photos from the series. Davidson serves as writer and executive producer and stars in the fictionalized version of his life. Falco portrays his mom and Pesci will portray his grandfather. “Bupkis” will include an array of guest stars, including Charlie Day, Brad Garrett, Simon Rex, Ray Romano, Kenan Thompson and Chase Sui Wonders. Judah Miller serves as showrunner, executive producer and writer. Lorne Michaels, Andrew Singer, Erin David also executive produced alongside co-writer Dave Sirus.
