‘Endeavour’: PBS Sets Premiere Date For Ninth And Final Season Of ‘Masterpiece’ Drama

“Superfan,” a one-hour unscripted CBS game show that features diehard fans of six music superstars, including Gloria Estefan and LL Cool J, competing to be crowned that musician’s “superfan.” The six-episode series will debut on Friday, June 9 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on CBS, and will also be available to stream live and on demand on the CBS app and Paramount+, the network announced on Tuesday.

Joe Otterson TV Reporter “Dark Side of the Ring” Season 4 has set its premiere date at Vice TV. The fourth season of the popular pro wrestling docuseries, which will consist of 10 episodes, will debut on May 30 at 10 p.m. ET. “We’re incredibly grateful to our viewers for giving this show the life that it has had for the past 4 years,” said executive producers Evan Husney and Jason Eisener. “As lifelong fans of professional wrestling, our subjects continue to inspire us. McKinley Franklin author TNT has announced an official premiere date for its scripted action thriller “The Lazarus Project,” which was previously set to come out earlier this year. “The Lazarus Project” will make its debut on Sunday, June 4 at 9 p.m. ET. The eight-hour drama will follow the story of George, The Lazarus Project’s latest recruit. The organization holds the power to travel back in time at any moment when the world may be on the brink of extinction. When one of George’s closest friends suffers an accident, he has to come to answer the question — “if you had the power to re-write your past, what would you sacrifice to do it?”  The television series was originally set to release on January 8 but was shelved by its parent company, Warner Bros. Discovery, as it continues to adjust its linear network strategy. “The Lazarus Project” was acquired from the U.K.’s Sky Max, which aired Season 1 in June 2022. The show is now one of the few original scripted series left on TNT, as WBD has wiped most of the original fare off of TBS/TNT in favor of mostly acquired movies and TV repeats, along with sports.

Vivian Stringer, is coming to CBS and Paramount+ Mar. 25 at 2:30 p.m. ET/11:30 a.m. PT. In 2009, Stringer was also inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. The seasoned coach is best known for leading the female ballers of Cheyney State to the NCAA Women’s Final Four — the first and only historically Black college to do so. Stringer went on to coach two other teams to the NCAA Women’s Final Four: Rutgers University in 2000 and 2007 as well as the University of Iowa in 1993. Produced by Coaches+ Media, “Dear Coach Stringer” chronicles the team’s groundbreaking victory during the 1981-1982 season and highlights Stringer’s legacy through interviews with family, friends, former players and other coaches.

Showtime has unveiled an April 14th premiere date for their documentary Personality Crisis: One Night Only, on New York Dolls frontman David Johansen, also debuting a trailer for the pic directed by Academy Award winner Martin Scorsese (The Last Waltz) and Emmy nom David Tedeschi (The 50 Year Argument), which you can view above.

Elsa Keslassy International Correspondent Viaplay’s newly launched U.S. streaming service has unveiled the trailer for its anticipated original crime series “Cell 8” which will premiere exclusively in North America on the platform on April 13. The 6-episode series shot in both Swedish and English, and revolves around the justice system and death penalty. “Cell 8” tells the story of a man presumed dead who is arrested on a ferry between Sweden and Finland. Detectives Mariana Hermansson (Mimosa Willamo) and Ewert Grens (Leonard Terfelt) who proceed to the arrest are thrown into a mysterious and increasingly dark series of events. The case soon reveals a personal connection not only to Hermansson herself, but to a Death Row prisoner in the U.S. and a grieving parent consumed by the quest for revenge.
