Ashley Graham is taking the high road!
Ashley Graham is taking the high road when it comes to her viral Oscars interview with Hugh Grant. The 35-year-old supermodel interviewed A-listers on the champagne carpet during ABC's Oscars pre-show at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.Graham's awkward exchange with Grant went viral after a debate arose as to whether the 62-year-old British actor was being rude, giving clipped responses and even rolling his eyes at the end, or that the interview itself was just a culture clash gone wrong. When approached by at the airport after the show, Graham was asked about her interview with Grant.«You know what, my mama told me to kill people with kindness, so there you go,» the mother of three said, smiling. And Graham didn't seem to let the moment put a damper on the evening.«I had so much fun,» she shared.
said Grant was rude, snobby or a plain ol’ “a- -hole,” but Graham was equally underwhelming in her repartee. The model asked Grant — the walking embodiment of English reticence — what was his favorite thing about the Oscars.“It’s fascinating … It’s vanity fair,” he mustered, making an observation about the frivolity of this annual masturbatory event — a circus, of which he’s a participant. The reference sailed over Graham’s head like a Brett Maher field goal, completely missing its target. She thought he was talking about the Vanity Fair magazine afterparty, where A-listers and Justin Bieber in my nana’s crocheted afghan toasted each other with pricey bubbly and fancy fare.“It’s all about Vanity Fair, where we let loose and have a bit of fun,” she cluelessly responded.

Hugh Grant has come under fire for his red carpet interview at the Oscars. The actor was in attendance at the 95th Academy Awards and as he rubbed shoulders with his fellow big screen stars before the ceremony, he spoke with model Ashley Graham in what People Magazine called "a brief, awkward interview".
Hugh Grant wasn't thrilled by his chat with ABC’s co-hostAshley Graham, or her line of questioning ahead of Sunday's 95th Oscars. While chatting with Graham outside the Dolby Theatre ahead of the big show, Grant seemed to get increasingly irritated throughout the conversation, and really didn't want to engage at all. When asked what he's wearing — a fairly normal red carpet question — Grant simply said, «Just my suit.» He was equally terse when asked who he was rooting for, responding, «No one in particular.»Graham tried to turn things around, asking about his highly talked-about cameo in , but it was to no avail, with Grant simply responding, «Well, I'm barely in it. I’m in for about three seconds.»The cringey exchange came to an end with one final uncomfortable moment when, after asking a final question and getting nothing in return, Graham said, «Well, OK, it was nice to talk to you.»«Yeah,» Grant said, seemingly rolling his eyes as he handed back the mic.I'm Hugh Grant all night with the Oscars & award shows in general nowadays.
Oscars are finally here, and the champagne-colored carpet is filled with glitz and glamour. On Sunday, celebs descended upon the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California, dressed to the nines.Newly engaged Vanessa Hudgens flashed her gorgeous ring while keeping her look sophisticated and simple. Dressed in a strapless black gown with a white band both at the bust and the hem of the dress, Hudgens let her new, shiny piece of jewelry serve as her standout accessory for the night.Laverne Cox brought the drama in an eye-catching black-and-turquoise gown that featured nude paneling and black off-the-shoulder sleeves that doubled as gloves.
