EMILY Atack has branded imprisoned social media star Andrew Tate "terrifying" after opening up about her own sexual harassment at the hands of online trolls. The actress and comedian, 33, is passionately campaigning for a crackdown on the sending of unwelcome explicit content after being bombarded with horrifying rape threats. In a new Radio Times interview, Emily spoke of the devastating impact the prolonged harassment has had on her mental health.
She said: “I’m terrified at times. The second I hear a bump in the night I go, ‘Oh, that’s it. I’m about to be raped and killed.
I’m scared of being alone physically a lot of the time.” While Emily has had no personal dealings with controversial Tate, who calls himself Top G, she finds his misogynistic teachings and influence "terrifying". Tate and his brother Tristan were arrested as part of a probe into human trafficking, rape, and organised crime back in December.
