A creepy abandoned pet hotel has been put up for sale just outside of Glasgow - with sellers inviting budding businesspeople to take on the challenge.
The secluded property in Chryston, just off Cumbernauld Road, includes a bungalow, cottage, kennels for dogs and green meadows. It also boasts two residential buildings with both of them needing modernisation along with the leafy grounds of the land.
Glasgow Live reports that the cottage is spread over two floors with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room and kitchen. The bungalow is comprised of three bedrooms, two bathrooms including an ensuite, dining room, sitting room, kitchen, utility room alongside a rather large conservatory.
The plot includes many other outbuildings which can still be used for running a pet hotel including: washroom, former cattery, dog kennels, dog run, and a timber store. All the land that has been mentioned, including the meadowy forest, comes out at just over 4.5 acres - 4.52 acres to be precise.
The property is priced at £350,000 and be viewed here.
The advertisement on, On the Market, produced by Galbraith – Stirling, reads: “The property provides an excellent development opportunity, benefitting from two existing residential dwellings, a range of useful and adaptable outbuildings which have historically been used as dog kennels and a cattery, and an area of land and amenity woodland extending to about 1.83 Ha (4.52 Acres) in total.
“Adjacent to the Bungalow, and adjoining some the outbuildings there is a converted stable block which forms a detached stone-built dwelling with double garage.”

Lena Headey has landed a new gig.
Joe Otterson TV Reporter Lena Headey is set to star in Kurt Sutter’s upcoming Netflix series “The Abandons,” Variety has learned. The Western series was ordered at the streamer in October 2022. The official series description states: “As a group of diverse, outlier families pursue their Manifest Destiny in 1850s Oregon, a corrupt force of wealth and power, coveting their land, tries to force them out. These abandoned souls, the kind of lost souls living on the fringe of society, unite their tribes to form a family and fight back. In this bloody process, ‘justice’ is stretched beyond the boundaries of the law.” Headey will play Fiona, described as “a strong, devout matriarch who, unable to have her own children, took in four orphans to create her own family. Driven by a higher purpose – and a strong-willed Irish temper – her faith and love for her family trump all.”
