In a recent episode of EastEnders , a car accident involving Kim Fox, played by Tameka Empson, appeared to have only one significant casualty: Denzel, played by Jaden Ladega, the passenger in the vehicle. Denzel suffered severe injuries in the accident, which occurred when Kim became distracted by messages on Denise's, played by Diane Parish, phone which uncovered an affair between Denise and Ravi, played by Aaron Thiara. This was only the start of Kim's troubles, as she had to face court and was hit with a driving ban. However, even before the court case, it became evident that Kim was struggling and that the accident had had a profound impact on her mental well-being.
Prior to her appearance in court, Denzel noticed Kim experiencing a panic attack when she was asked to drive for work. As the court date approached, Kim endured several more panic attacks, which she attempted to conceal from everyone around her. Amy, played by Ellie Dadd, and Denzel make heartfelt attempts to support Kim, urging her to open up and seek the help she desperately needs.

In one scene, Kim organizes a farewell party for Lola, played by Danielle Harold, at the salon. Unfortunately, her anxiety-ridden state leads to a major oversight—she forgets to arrange for a karaoke machine.
Her relationship with her daughter, Pearl, played by Arayah Harris-Buckle, starts to suffer as well. When Pearl falls ill, Kim's anxiety spirals out of control. Consumed by worry, Kim becomes convinced that something gravely serious is wrong with her daughter, insisting on rushing her to the hospital.Thankfully, Sonia, played by Natalie
