On Friday (May 26), it was announced that the 36-year-old “God’s Plan” singer has surpassed over 80 billion streams on Spotify, securing his spot as the most streamed artist on the streaming service.

Drake‘s newly released song “Search&Rescue” added over 100 million streams to his count, Chart Data confirmed via HotNewHipHop.
Earlier this year, Drake made history as the first person ever to hit over 75 billion streams on Spotify.
At the time, Drake suggested Spotify reward musicians for their achievements.
“We should get bonuses like athletes to motivate the future artists to be consistent and competitive,” Drake wrote on his Instagram Story back in February.
