A dog grooming salon and a hot food takeaway could be coming to Ayrshire - if the proposals are given the green light.
Two separate applications have been submitted to South Ayrshire Council’s planning department, seeking permission for the go-ahead.
The application for the dog grooming salon relates to a property at 1 Weston Place, Prestwick, where the applicant, Louise Gilmour, wants to demolish an existing garage to make way for the dog grooming studio.
And the hot food takeaway relates to a premises at 159 Whitletts Road, Ayr, where the applicant, Halken Properties Limited, are seeking a change of use from an office space to enable them to establish the takeaway.
Both applications are listed as ‘pending consideration’ on South Ayrshire Council’s online planning portal.
