Joey Essex seems to have suffered from a leg injury, just one day ahead of appearing on Dancing On Ice.The former TOWIE star, 32, sparked concern that he might not be able to perform on Sunday evening’s episode after sharing a photo of his injury to Instagram.The reality star shared a photo of himself sitting on a bed with his leg wrapped up, writing that he’d “had better days” in a caption over the image. Joey is in a dancing couple with pro skater Vanessa Bauer, who he has been teasing a romance with.The pair are one of six remaining couples in the competition after former EastEnders star Patsy Palmer was the latest star to go home last week.
Joey and dance parter Vanessa set romance rumours flying recently after they were snapped stepping out together.The skating duo have been rumoured to be growing closer behind-the-scenes, and were previously snapped cosying up at TV Choice Awards in November.The star was even grilled on the rumoured romance by host Phillip Schofield two weeks ago after the star said he had "fallen in love".
