However, in harrowing scenes, Aaron continued to kiss Amy who was unaware of what happened next as he made the decision for her that they will have sexual relations.
So far, the ITV soap has followed Amy as she comes to the devastating realisation that she did not consent and she was raped, while Aaron has attempted to convince her that they both wanted to do it. In upcoming scenes, Summer reads a text on Aaron’s phone suggesting to Amy they put things behind them and demands to know what’s going on.
To which Aaron admits they slept together the night they broke up but it was a one off and they both regret it. Summer is left devastated and confronts Amy, who bursts into tears and assures her she’s got it all wrong before confessing to mum Tracy Barlow how Aaron raped her.Tracy’s horrified as Amy describes how she passed out drunk and Aaron took advantage of her.
Later, a heartbroken Steve McDonald and Tracy urge Amy to report Aaron to the police. With Tracy for support, Amy enters the police station and says she wants to report a rape.
