Coronation Street's Dennis Stringer actor swaps cobbles for the council in career change

Kimberly Hart-Simpson has recalled her dad's heartbreaking dying wish in an emotional interview on Tuesday's Loose Women.The soap star revealed her dad was a "hard core" fan of Coronation Street and made it his dying wish for his daughter to star in the soap someday. Her dad passed away in 2007. Kimberly, 35, now plays Nicky Wheatley in the soap, having first joined the cobbles back in June 2020 as Daniel Osbourne's complicated love interest and left in September of the same year.

Coronation Street 's Sean Tully, played by Antony Cotton, is set for a new love interest on the hit ITV soap.
