A frantic search has been launched for a man who vanished over three days ago.
Officers are keen to trace Gavin Laidlaw, 46, who was last seen at around 8.30am on Monday, May 22, near to Kittoch Street in East Kilbride. He is known to frequent East Kilbride town centre and the Blantyre area.
Police Scotland have been carrying out 'significant enquiries' to locate Gavin and urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward.
Gavin is described as 5ft 6in, slim build, with short greying hair with grey stubble.
The 46-year-old is thought to be wearing a black top and black trousers.
Sergeant Gary Mackie, East Kilbride Police Station, said “Officers have been carrying out significant enquiries since Gavin was reported missing but so far he has not been located.
"We wish to appeal to anyone who may be able to provide any information regarding Gavin’s whereabouts or potential sightings that will assist us in tracing him.
"Gavin is known to frequent East Kilbride Town centre including the shopping centre.
"I would also ask Gavin himself to get in contact with friends, family, support services or Police.
"Police can be contacted by calling 101 and quoting incident number 3770 of 24 May 2023."
