Swarm, Amazon Prime's buzzy new limited series from executive producer Donald Glover, has an ironically fierce online fanbase for a show about the dark side of obsessive fandoms. But with Chloe Bailey, , and even Malia Obama, who receives a writing credit on the show, that was probably bound to happen. Right? In the genre-bending horror-comedy, Andrea “Dre” Greene (Dominique Fishback) is obsessed with a pop star analogous to Beyoncé.
Over the course of two years, Dre's obsession takes a dark and violent turn—a leap at once surreal, but also incredibly believable. However, after the first episode premiered on Amazon Prime on March 17, it wasn't the notable names in the credits that set social media on fire—it was an between Marissa Jackson (Bailey) and Khalid (Damson Idris). Unsurprisingly, most of the attention was directed at Bailey.Damson Idris, Dominique Fishback, and Chloe Bailey at the Los Angeles premiere of Swarm. For the singer's longtime fans, who came to know Bailey as one-half of the singing sister act Chloe & Halle, or from her role on ABC's coming-of-age comedy Grown-ish, her character Marissa's raw and passionate sex scene may have come as a shock.
After all, she was just 16 when she arrived on the scene with her younger sister. But eight years later, at age 24, Bailey is all grown up. And it seems some fans are having a hard time grappling with that fact.Immediately following the show's premiere, social media was flooded with talk of the scene.
Clips of the episode shared on Twitter have upwards of 20 million views. For a few days, it seemed the sex scene and/or discourse about the sex scene was inescapable. “I'm gonna be thinking about Chlöe Bailey and Damson idris's sex scene for the rest of my life. I

Murtada Elfadl In the pleasantly amusing “Praise This,” Chloe Bailey is the self professed nonreligious Sam, a musical artist in the making who finds her niche in Atlanta’s competitive gospel youth choir scene. Director Tina Gordon crafts a musical that’s carried through by a charming cast and highly entertaining ensemble performances. “Praise This” adds a mostly delightful entry to the genre, even if it doesn’t offer a unique take. More successfully it acts as a winning introductory calling card to the acting and musical talents of its rising star, the slightly-older sister of upcoming “The Little Mermaid” actor Halle Bailey and one-half of the sibling R&B duo Chloe x Halle. The story starts with Sam forced to leave Los Angeles by her dad because of some rebellious behavior. He entrusts her care to her aunt and uncle (Kendrick Cross and Janora McDuffie), but the person who takes full charge of Sam’s new life in Atlanta is her cousin Jess (Anjelika Washington). Immediately calling her a sister-cousin and introducing Sam to her life, friends and choir practice, Jess is the type of relative most people try to avoid, driven away by their too boisterous enthusiasm. Ever the smart person, it doesn’t take long for Sam to realize that joining Jess’ praise team in the lead-up to a national championship competition might be her way out of Atlanta and into a successful musical career. And so an odd-couple friendship is born.

The skirt was intricately draped on one side to create subtle pleating to create a sweeping, dramatic waterfall as it cascaded into a sweeping train.
