Carol Vorderman issues warning over someone pretending to be her

Carol Vorderman issued a warning after being contacted by fans telling that her someone was pretending to be her online. The former Countdown presenter took to Instagram to issue an alert and to say it definitely isn't her.
The 62-year-old warned her followers that it's a scam. She also pleaded with fans to report the person pretending to be her on social media.
Carol wrote: "Scam alert. Quite a few of you are telling me they are being contacted by @Carol.privately or similar." She added: "It's a scam. Pls report them."

Carol gave details of her real accounts to avoid any confusion. She informed: "@carolvorders with the blue tick is my only account. Plus @vordervan which I'll get going again soon."
One concerned fan paullawrencecurtis was among the social media users reaching out to warn her. They said: "Someone has set up an Instagram account called carol.privately which I think is a scam and thought you should know."
They explained to the TV star that at first they had thought it was the real Carol. "When your scam site friended me at first I thought it was the real you...silly me," they messaged. Grateful to them pointing it out, Carol replied: "Another scam? This week seems to have had its fair share x"
Carol has been keeping fans updated on her workouts recently as she returned to the gym. She looked incredible in one post as she worked out with an exercise ball and weights.
