To celebrate St Patrick’s Day, Kate Middleton and Prince William attended the annual Irish Guards St Patrick's Day parade at Mons Barracks for the first time since becoming the Prince and Princess of Wales. In keeping with tradition, Kate wore a full green ensemble to greet the guards and attend the parade, although this year she opted for a more sea-green shade rather than her usual bolder shades like emerald and forest green. The Princess of Wales wore a seafoam green coat from one of her favourite brands, Catherine Walker, which featured a high, structured collar and belted waist, with tailored darts on the shoulders and covered buttons up the front. The coat had an almost military-inspired feel to it thanks to the structured cut and exaggerated shoulders, making it the perfect choice to attend the barracks in.
