Thania Garcia Morgan Wallen leads the albums chart for a fifth consecutive week with his 36-song “One Thing at a Time,” — and in the latest tracking week, the set’s lead single, “Last Night,” also returns to No. 1 on the Hot 100 for a second week. Wallen’s third studio album logged the equivalent of 173,000 sales in the United States and 216 million streams, according to data by Luminate. The record debuted at No. 1 back in March — with 501,000 sales as the largest debut since Taylor Swift’s “Midnights” — and has not left the summit since. Not only that, Wallen has been credited as one of the largest contributors to the growing presence of country music on streaming platforms.

The Elizabeth Banks-directed film hits the streamer nearly two months after it premiered in theaters, where it beat box office expectations and earned an impressive $24 million during its opening weekend. The wild R-rated movie, inspired by a stranger-than-fiction story about a drug runner’s plane crash, imagines the events that would have transpired if the American black bear that ingested a duffle bag full of blow had lived to tell the tale. It was budgeted at roughly $35 million, which was mostly dedicated to the CGI used to bring to life the coked-out beast alongside the human cast of Keri Russell, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Alden Ehrenreich, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Brooklynn Prince. Its box office success marks another win for Universal following its killer-doll movie “M3GAN,” which collected $170 million globally and, like “Cocaine Bear,” also became available to stream on Peacock only seven weeks after its release.

Ellise Shafer Enter the Snyderverse: Director Zack Snyder is hosting a three-day celebration of his films in April to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. The weekend of screenings will take place on April 28-30, with all proceeds going to AFSP in honor of his daughter, Autumn Snyder, who died at the age of 20 in 2017. The three-day event will include director’s cuts of Snyder’s films followed by in-person and livestreamed Q&As with Snyder and special guests. The movies that will be shown include 2013’s “Man of Steel,” 2016’s “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition” and 2021’s “Zack Snyder’s Justice League.” Screenings will take place in Los Angeles at the Ahmanson Auditorium at ArtCenter College of Design on April 28 and 29, with a third screening on April 30 at Universal Cinema AMC at CityWalk Hollywood. Snyder earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film from ArtCenter in 1989 and serves on the college’s board of trustees.
