A source is revealing how Bijou Phillips reacted to the news that her husband Danny Masterson was convicted on rape charges.
The 47-year-old That ’70s Show actor was convicted on two counts of forcible rape and faced 30 years in prison. It has been reported that when the verdict was read, his family let out an audible gasp in court.
Danny was accused of raping three women at his Hollywood Hills home between 2001 and 2003. The jury could not reach a verdict pertaining to the third rape charge, deadlocking with a vote of 8-4 in favor of conviction.

The insider says Bijou is “shocked and devastated” by the conviction. The source told People, “She wasn’t prepared for the verdict. She never expected him to be found guilty. She couldn’t believe that he was taken into custody right away and remanded.”
Bijou “is terrified about the sentencing,” according to the source close to her.
Danny is currently in jail, where he is being held without bail until he is sentenced. Bijou is reportedly going to stand by his side no matter what.
“No matter what happens though, Bijou supports him,” the source said. “She has no plans to leave him.”
