Reports have been swirling that Chrishell Stause and G Flip aren’t really married, and the Selling Sunset star is addressing those whispers head on.
The couple revealed that they tied the knot in early May. However, multiple reports suggested that they never filed any paperwork to be legally wed.
Whispers about the topic continued picking up steam, prompting a response from Chrishell.

While on SiriusXM Hits 1 LA with Tony Fly and Symon, Chrishell opened up about the rumors, according to ET.
“Well, honestly, I think that everyone is [acting] like that’s the thing. They’re like, ‘Gotcha,’” she said when directly asked about their marriage status. “But to be honest with you, we knew if we did it, we would also hear people say, ‘Oh, you know, G wants a green card.’ Where it’s like G already has a passport, a visa.”
While she didn’t directly answer the question, she continued, saying, “It doesn’t matter what we do for the rest of our lives, we’re gonna hear criticism, so we decided we are always just gonna do exactly what we wanna do and I’m not out here to try and prove people how serious it is or how meaningful it was.”
“If you don’t believe it, I don’t care and that’s the best part. I don’t need your approval,” Chrishell added.
The couple also opened up about the wedding tattoos they got.
