Today's This Morning descended into chaos as hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary were left in hysterics as they interviewed leprechaun whisperer Kevin Wood. ITV's St Patrick's Day celebrations took a rather bizarre turn when Kevin, who claims to be the world's last leprechaun whisperer, scolded the presenters and accused them of not taking him seriously.

Previously she has even picked up expert interior advice from Kelly Hoppen on organising her open-plan living room and kitchen.

This Morning presenter lost both her parents in the space of five months, in 2020. Her mum Maria died following a battle with liver and lung cancer in January of that year, and her father, who lived in Jamaica, died the following June. On Thursday, Alison shared a photo of herself kissing a huge picture of her late mum.

This Morning presenter Alison Hammond is reportedly set to join The Great British Bake Off when the Channel 4 series begins filming later this year. Alison, 48, will reportedly be replacing Matt Lucas as co-host, after the comedian announced his departure at the end of last year, telling fans that it had become clear he couldn't balance both GBBO and other commitments. Matt's fellow co-host Noel Fielding will be remaining on the show, with Alison set to present alongside him.
