Alison Hammond issued an apology on This Morning on Friday after discovering a big mistake she had been making on social media.
The presenter revealed she had been using the block button on Instagram for all the wrong reasons.
The 48-year-old was back at the helm of This Morning, fronting the ITV daytime show for the first time since she and co-host Dermot O'Leary stepped in and covered following Phillip Schofield's shock exit.
However, they returned in good form, kicking off the show in their standard upbeat manner and the pair discussed the latest news headlines with Nick Ferrari and Matthew Wright, reports Manchester Evening News.
As he gave them their welcome, Dermot described their regular guest as GOATs, a slang phrase meant to mean the Greatest Of All Time which is used as a compliment.
Following the remark, Alison admitted she had 'never' heard the reference before.
The TV-favourite later went on to reveal that she believed she was being trolled online when people referred to her as the 'GOAT'.
She admitted: "I've been blocking people."
Before adding: "Sorry If I've blocked you."
Later in the show, Alison and Dermot were joined in the studio by body confidence coach Michelle Elman.
They took viewers' calls to speak to those who had body image concerns and were seeking expert advice.
One of the calls was Elaine, from London, who shared how she was living with lymphodemia, a swelling due to build-up of lymph fluid in the body.
She began: "I've had it for a long time but the past few years it has got really bad and my thighs and legs look like tree trunks and they’ve got scars," she said on the show.
