Aldi has wowed its shoppers with a frozen "fakeaway" product that has left them so impressed that they're saying it's better than the real deal.

One such supermarket is Aldi which has taken on some of our favourite takeaways such as McDonald's, and now there is a Chinese meal that has sent shoppers wild.
As reported by The Liverpool Echo, the budget chain's £6.49 Ready Set Cook! Oven ready crispy aromatic half duck with pancakes have received praise after being posted to the Aldi UK Shoppers on Facebook.
The product, which serves two people, is the supermarket's take on a popular Chinese takeaway order and also includes a delicious hoi sin sauce to be drizzled over the pancakes.
Sharing the fakeaway product on the page, the shopper wrote: "Tried this tonight, absolutely divine.
"Did it in the air fryer and the skin was so crispy and yum. Won't bother getting [it] from takeaway again, tasty, cheap and you know exactly how many calories you're eating."
Other shoppers were also so impressed with the cheap fakeaway product that they agree that it has become a staple product for them to enjoy, while others can't wait to try them.
One shopper said: "We've had this a few times, very nice" A second agreed: "This is a favourite in our [house], get it most weekends."
A third added: ""Ooh this looks lovely, will have to give it a go." A fourth said: "Can you do this in the oven?"
